Job description

• To support the Finance Department on tasks across finance operations to deliver efficient and effective outcomes.

• Take lead to implement system enhancement and migration projects.

• Responsible for the preparation, completion and consolidation of the Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end accounting, including financial reports for our holding company, analytical analysis and commentary.

• Reconcile the intercompany balance sheet payables and receivables accounts, settling balances and clearing receipts and payments.

• Contribute to the planning of annual audit and handle the queries from auditors.

• Contribute to the planning of annual budget, forecast and cashflows.

• Participate in Cash flow and Liquidity management.

• Prepare and complete Corporation Tax and other tax matters as requested.

• Preparation of Solvency II QRT quarterly and other regulatory reports.

• Oversee the development and documentation of appropriate procedures and policies.

• Maintain filing and records in accordance with departmental procedures and best practices.

• Deliver ad hoc report requested by the management.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in financial reporting role, previously worked within the Insurance industry is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or a related field.

• Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA) or equivalent.

• Experience in owning the business model and running financial planning activities including annual budget and re-forecasts.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.

• Have awareness of control environments within financial systems and ability to address weakness.

• Willing to work overtime to meet the deadline of the assigned tasks.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and writing communication skills, good level of Mandarin language is a plus.

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
